Anyone elses infant not cry very often?

Does anyone else's infant not cry much at all? I keep reading and hearing that infants cry a lot and its normal. Megan hardly ever cries. She whines and makes noises when she wakes up, if she is hungry or wet but its not a cry. Even when I bathe her, which alot of babies hate, she doesnt cry at all. I can basically do anything to her (even when I wash her hair which I know is major for babies) she doesnt make a sound. I dont know if she is just easy going and laid back and I should love it or if I should be concerned?? I asked the doctor and he said I was blessed but I feel like he just shrugged me off about it. Maybe because I am being neurotic?? Anyone?

Connor didn't for the first few weeks.

My son is real laid back and always has been.

I like to thank the oreos that gave him a little bit of chocolate thruout the pregnancy..lol since they said that made happy babies..lol

Noreen, Megan knows not to mess with you. You carried her for nine months, many of those months in a classroom with some wonderfully naughty children, she was able to hear what happens if you misbehave!! Enjoy the silence!!!

it's a blessing. we try not to take it for granted. Ellie hardly ever cries and she's also very good during bathtime. She only cries if she's really upset and usually it's more of a whine than a cry.

I remember thinking in the very beginning, ah, this isn;t so bad...he hardly cries or makes any noise. Well, I should have bitten my tongue, becasue the crying came and now we are in a whining stage mixed in with tantrums. Fun times! Ha Ha!

Both my children are very good. Don't get me wrong, they've been known to throw hissy fits, but overall they are very good. Just enjoy it!

Your DD just may be easy going....my DD is like this and I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and 4 months later it still hasn't.

Dominic is the same way. He really does not cry. He mostly makes noises and loud grunts!

Last night he actually had his first hysterical fit..it almost made ME cry!

All my boys have been great babies (toddlers, another story )
My mom used to say "they dont know how to cry" because even a cry was a wimper and not a real cry-cry...

Luciano's a little blessing, he's actually been very fussy the past few hours, and chewing on his hands, and was a little feverish, seems like teething already, even though we're all late teethers here
