anyone elses spring 07 baby eat like a bird?
ds eats so little and i can't get him to eat more.
nurses 3x and 1 sippy of formula (no clue how many oz.)
breakfast-3/4 stage 2 veggie and meat combo and maybe 5-10 cherrios
snack- 5-10 puffs
lunch- 1/4 slice american cheese, cubed fruit (about the size of a quarter), 3/4 stage 2 veggie
dinner- 3/4 yobaby yogurt and 2 tbls of oatmeal
he'll sometimes try new table food and eat about the size or a dime to a quarter and be done with it.

My DD is 13 months and has been eating like that forever.

Can I ask you a weird question? Why do you give a veggie and meat combo for breakfast and yogurt and oatmeal for dinner?

lol i was waiting for someone to ask me that! there are actually a few reasons.
for breakfast i'm usually tired so i want something i know he will eat with no fuss= a puree. so i give him a stage 2 meat and part of a veggie mixed together.
for lunch i try some real food which usually aggrivates him and makes him not want to eat much so i just offer a fruit (not as nutritious as meat and veggie so it's ok if he doesn't eat much).
for dinner my dr. said if you give yogurt before bed it may help him sleep better. i also give it with cereal (he hates texture but loves cereal so he'll eat it with less fuss.
did that make any sense?

I guess it does....I guess I always thought of giving cereal, yogurt, and fruit at breakfast and veggies at lunch and dinner....
Personally, I'd swap those two meals. My ped told me to do the meat and veggie combos as dinner b/c they are filling.

i totally agree that that it's backwards but when i used to have it the other way around ds would wake earlier to be fed at night.

Re: anyone elses spring 07 baby eat like a bird?
My DD eats like a bird and she's 17 months. For breakfast, she'll eat a silver-dollar sized pancake and that's it. Lunch a yogurt and some fruit. Snack....a piece of cheese or a handful of puffs. Dinner is a nightmare!!!!
It doesn't seem like your DS is getting enough fruit. You said that you are lucky if he'll eat the quarter sized amount cubed up but I don't see any other fruit on your menu. Just an observation.
