Anyone else's toddler obsessed with planes?

I swear, DH is succeeding in turning my little girl into a little tomboy! Everytime a plane flies over, she gets soooooo excited, starts clapping her hands, points to the plane and says "pane pane pane!", and once it's gone from sight, she screams "more more more!". So, Dh bought a toy automated plane (for Alex, of course Chat Icon), and proceeded to fly it into the roof and destroyed the damn thing.

Last night, he came home with a NEW toy plane - this one guaranteed to not break - with a bigger price tag of course Chat Icon

Julia is obsessed with trains (choo-choo's) and planes! If we are outside she has to wave to every plane that flys over our house, if she hears the train she yells out "CHOO-CHOO"!!

I had to order a big Thomas the train balloon for her b-day party--lol

I have a little tomboy too! and my DH loves to buy her mini trains and planes now...Chat Icon

Jack is also obsessed with tranis and airplanes! He thinks every plane that he sees is going to FLorida since that seems to be where we fly all the time!

OMG my DD is the same way! She LOVES planes, says "airplane" (sounds more like "apple" though) over and over. I swear she has an eagle eye, she can spot them from so far off!

That's so funny-- Marissa is the SAME way with planes and trains! She's obsessed...while we're in the car, she'll spot them instantly through the moon roof! It's really so funny...

OHHHH YEAH! Whenever he hears a plane he stiffens his who body and yells PAPA! (my dad lives in Florida and he knows he takes a plane) and whenever he sees a train he says choo-choo Nina (my sister Tina comes in from NYC weekends on the train).

John loves planes, every plane he sees he has the same reaction as Alex. If you ask him where the plane is going he will either say "wegas" "disney" or uark (newark)

School buses and trucks, loves those too

Yes, you can add DS to the list. He started with every plane being "dada" to "plane" to "airplane" now it's "airplane airplane is that Daddy?"

But he could careless if its a commerical airliner because my boy hates flying commerican but if its civilian or military he is all about it. I used to get a kick out of the fact that he was speech delayed but knew the difference between an "plane" and a "helochopper" but didn't have basic nouns or verbs.

Is she seeing the C130's from Willgrove there always easy to spot since there loud and slow. But due to what DH does my boy has way too much airplane knowledge and can spot which one is a like Daddy's plane and which one isn't. He also hates Thomas the Tank (I sware he is the only American Male toddler/preschooler that does)but loves Jay Jay the Jet Plane.

Stay, I love that John says "wegas!" I'd adore to hear a 2 year old talking about vegas.

Nate is obsessed with planes, trains, cars, etc.... When we are outside within minutes I hear "Wook" and see him pointing at the sky. We got him the Little People airplane and he carries it everywhere. Every morning when we leave the house, he grabs his plane to take to Grandma/Grandpa's. It's like his little briefcase.
