Anyone ever been to the Suffolk County Farm in Yapank?
is it worth the trip? What is there to do there, what are the best ages to take, is there an admission price? Any info would be appreciated

Re: Anyone ever been to the Suffolk County Farm in Yapank?
I just went there for a birthday party... I am not sure if there's an admission fee, but it was just okay. There's a playground for the kids and several kids of animals in pens. It's not very big at all but we got to go on a wagon ride around the perimeter of the farm which was fun.
I actually prefer the Holtsville Ecology Center, I know there is no fee and there is a nice picnic area and playground next to it.

Thank you for the feedback. We LOVE Holtsville, just looking for something new and thought we'd give it a try if it was worth it.

Gerty and I took the kids a few weeks ago. We loved it.. It's a real farm, animals are in pens bu tnot "cages". It's free, it's small, and it's a farm - not an amusement park type place. When we were there it was right after a bunch of lambs were born and they were so adorable.

I like it
It's a good change of pace from Holtsville...My kids get a lot of energy out there because theres plenty of room to run and its free so its a win win situation for me !
ETA- if you have a stroller that is better in rough terrain and will be bringing a stroller I would use it...Its a bumpy walk
