I would like to go, it is a little pricey though. So it was worth the money? Glad you had a good time

Growing up I went every single year. It was very much like the resort in "Dirty Dancing" kind of resort. Close Families, good entertainment, very old-fashioned.
Now though, it's way to overpricd for what they give you. I don't think I'll ever go back.

Re: Anyone ever been to Villa Roma in upstate NY...
We had a good time but what I didn't like was the fact that you had to pay extra to do certain things...like the bumper boats, go carts and horse back riding. There are other resorts that charge just as much but at least stuff like that was included in the price.
When my SIL booked it they told her that normally in the summer you only get breakfast and dinner served but being that this was a holiday weekend lunch would be included in our package, when we got there we were told that lunch was not included. So we had to pay for lunch. We made a big deal about it. We were lied to.
What I also didn't like was the fact that gratuities were included in the price yet we saw tip cups everywhere...we didn't put anything in those tip cups since we were already charged for gratuities...
I wouldn't mind going back but based on what I mentioned above, that would hold me back from going again.
However the place is nice, pools are clean...I liked the mushroom pool the best...
