Anyone ever buy pants a little tight withteh gioal of fitting in to them??

I bought a pair od gap skinny jeans and the size that fits better in the waist is big in the legs the pair that is a little tight in the waist fits great in the legs. Should I go for the smaller size and work to get into them( probaly like 5 lbs) or go with the bigger ones?

I would try jeans from a different company.

I personally don't do that---I can just take out old jeans that don't fit and have the same goal. For me, I'd be concerned that even after I lost 5 lbs that they wouldn't fit right.

I'd get the smaller waist or dont' bother with the jeans. The waist may stretch out.

It also depends on if the 5 pounds is your LAST 5 pounds (I can't lose it and keep it off) or just 5 pounds you could stand to lose and you'd be able to maintain it (cut out soda, juice, and iced tea).

I actually am having this issue with express. I am in between two sizes, the larger size fits at the waist with some room but it bunches by the crotch , the smaller size is a little snug on the waist but fits nice everywhere else. Since I am on a diet and exercising I opted for the smaller cause I know they will fit nice.

Last time I got the larger size, I ended up givng them away to my sister when she was preggo cause they look frumpy on me. or like others say, if you dont think you can reach that goal or need to rather, you can go to another store.
