ok ill look into that also. A group of us are going out for anthony's 30th bday next month.
I don't think you want Nobu for a group. I ate there with four people (including me) and it was $700. It is awesome though, if you feel like laying out the cash. Reservations are impossible, but you can check out Nobu Next Door as well...
also..I went to the Bed in Miami but not in NYC, but they are prob very similar. More of a lounge / hang out place...in my opinion it is somewhere you got AFTER dinner.

I really like Stanton Social...but make the reservation now!!!
I also like Highline...thai food...good for groups and it's in the meatpacking. THere is also a lounge in there that's pretty cool!

I liked Tao a lot.
I also went to Asia de Cuba for a work function and had a GREAT Time! The drinks were amazing!!!!!!!!

I went for drinks not eating -- It was alright, didn't like the music so much
but a friend went there for dinner for her bach party and liked it
what about Tao?
