Anyone ever foster a dog?
if so, what was the expereince like? i have agreed to foster a lab (transport is next weekend) and although i am very excited i am a bit nervous as well. the poor dog was dumped at the shelter down south, had pneumonia and was going to be euthanized w/in minutes of the rescue. i was told that he is VERY friendly and lovable but lacks formal training.
any advice?

Keep him in one room when you are not home pick up your rugs if you have any for the peeing iissue cause it does should like not potty trained. That is a wonderful thing you are doing. Watch how he or she around your other animals. remember your animals come first. Just give this dog attention also.

although he isn't "formally" trained, he is house trained. i do plan to crate him though when i am not home.
