Anyone ever go to a wedding on a Cloud 9 Yacht?
We were just invited to my friend's wedding on a Cloud 9 Yacht, leaving from NYC. I was wondering if anyone had ever been to a similar wedding and what it was like. It's a Saturday night wedding, and I don't know how formally to dress! Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

i went once. not sure if it was cloud 9, but it seems the same. everyone was just dressed just as formal as they would have been for any other wedding. everyone stayed inside most of the time since it was very windy outside. there was a cocktail hour in a downstairs room and then we went upstairs for dinner. they had a band, but the dance floor was kind of small so there wasn't too much dancing. we had a great time though!

I went to a yacht wedding on a similar looking yacht, but it was not Cloud 9. I would not wear a long gown because the boat rocks and I'd probably step on it!!!! I would say that people dressed nicely but maybe toned down a little from the way they dress at most Sat. night weddings.

I have not been on those yachts specifically but these boats are big and are just like any restaurant or catering hall. Check out the website. The yachts look spacious and well appointed. Definitely luxury. I would wear whatever you would normally wear to a Saturday night wedding. Have fun!
