anyone ever have a pup with a peanut/peanut butter allergy?
Oscar is either having a reaction, or he has peanut butter stuck somewhere. This morning, I gave him a Kong filled with peanut butter. He had been fixated on trying to break through the fence to get to a dead bird that was on the other side. I got him back to the house the only way I know how without having to wrestle him or risk a bite. Then a few things happened to lead to be believe he had a reaction. I called the vet but she said to just watch him for now, call again if anything gets worse. She had me check all around and in his mouth for stuck peanut butter. I did not find anything. Among several other weird symptoms, his bark has hardly any sound! He never got the bird, but the bird was surrounded with bumble bees. I told the vet that, in case she thinks he was stung.

He is slowly regaining his voice. It would have been a nice break for me when he was unable to bark, but I was scared for him!!!!
