Anyone ever hear of blood pressure going down in 2nd trimester?

Anyone ever hear of blood pressure going down in 2nd trimester?
My doctor said that there is usually a dip in blood pressure during the beginning of the 2nd trimester. Just wondering if anyone else has heard this and knows why this happens?

i'm not exactly sure why this happens, but it's definitely a well-known sign in the second trimester. in fact, at one point in the second tri i almost passed out at work - when i brought it up with my doc she said that lightheadedness and fainting was par for the course in the second tri because of the blood pressure changes.
