Anyone ever heard of or used paintable wallpaper?
Our bathroom walls are not getting completely smooth, but I already picked out the perfect paint color and everything else to coordinate with it. My mom read something about wallpaper that you can paint so that the wallpaper covers imperfections and you can still paint it whatever color you want. Anyone know anything about it?

My aunt used it when she renovated her apartment. She painted it beige, so you can't really see the difference unless you look really closely.
I'd never seen it before. It looks like itty bitty bubbles on the wall.

All the rooms in my house are lined with that stuff, we call it lining paper. Its put horizontally across, not vertically, that cuts out on the seams, once you paint it the seams disappear. Our walls weren't that great and this hides a multitudes of sins. I think its a great way to make your walls look smooth.

My parents have it in their living room- it's embossed with a medallion type pattern and painted a very pale yellow. It looks great.
