Anyone ever not get a smiley in the morning but
DID get it in the afternoon?
I always test in the afternoon but really thought today was the day I would get it so I tested this am and no smiley

I've never tested twice a day, but one month I tested in the am only b/c it said you can, and I never got a  in the am.

Yup, I did! I got an *almost* positive on a line OPK in the morning - before I knew I was supposed to test in the afternoon. I got my positive OPK later that day.

Mine are always in the afternoon. I test 2x a day when I know I'm close and its alawys - in the am and the + after work

Yeah, this cycle on CD24 I tested at 1pm and it was negative, then at 9:45pm and it was positive.

I have only used the kits 2 months so far but have gotten my smiley in the am both times.
What CD are you? Maybe it just hasnt come yet? Give it another few days, your cycles can vary.

When I know I should definitely be ovulating I usually do in am and afternoon, and usually do get the smiley by the afternoon. So annoying!!!

for CBE-OPK they say FMU is fine... not necessarily recommended... infact most OPKs ive read say 2pm is ideal time as long as you hold it for a few hours before hand...

o ok, thank you. I bought the clear blue OPK from Amazon and it said test in the AM or hold it for 4 hours. I'm just freaked out that I might miss the surge.

I thought it would be today but it could be tomorrow. I spot and it is hard for me to determine my CD1....last month I got it on what would be today so I will try this afternoon...if not I will try tomorrow afternoon...Thanks girls

Yes. I tested the morning of the day I got my smiley and got a big empty circle. I tested again that evening and got my smiley! When I tested the following morning, it was back to an empty circle, so if I had only tested once that day, I would have missed it.
