Anyone ever start off by having not such a great relationship with your MIL and then things

turned out so much better between the two of you? I just have to say that I am really enjoying my MIL's company so much more now than in the past. I just think in my situation DH was her only son and it was very hard for her to come to the realization that there was another woman in his life... So glad things are better now

I actually have always from the first day i met her had a very close bond with Ant's mom and i feel sad when i read all these posts about many beautiful young ladies having problems with their MIL's

Yes, I use to HATE her when I first started dating DH, she treated him like he was 5 and still needed her all the time, got on my nerves so much. Her and I had a better relationship once I got married, and DH moved out of the house!
When my DD was born she changed a lot and talks to me all the time, and we get a long very well, she still can be a pain in the a$$ though.....
