anyone ever try to make pb cookies with better'n pb?
if so, how'd they come out? i'd like to try, but where i live, it'd be an expensive proposition so before i waste my $6+ jar, i'm curious as to whether anyone else has tried... tia!

I live in the city - I tried to get it at TJ's a few times and every time they were out. I actually get most of my stuff from Fresh Direct but they don't carry it, so I had to get it at the grocery store down the street, which is WAY overpriced for just about everything.

Oh my goodness- thats an insane amount!! TJ is a little far for me so I always buy a bunch of them when I go! It's just a PITA to store them. I wonder if you can purchase online?

Re: anyone ever try to make pb cookies with better'n pb?
I'm definitely not doing it again - I do make it out to TJ's near my in-laws now and then and will stock up next time - but I had been dying to try it and had attempted to buy it a few times by the TJ's near me but they were out both times, so I allowed myself to do it just the one time. I probably will not experiment with cookies with this jar, but perhaps in the future!

Now that you gave me the idea...I may just attempt it! If I do, I'll let you know how they come out!

Re: anyone ever try to make pb cookies with better'n pb?
I'm not sure that's a good idea - I was googling recipes and the company has a bunch - linky - but pb cookies are not among them - there must be a reason for that! However, the first recipe and the sauces on the last page sound awesome - I could see this working really well in a peanut sauce or satay sauce!
ETA: Hungry Girl supports using it in recipes so maybe it would work... I'm going to try to find something well reviewed though before I proceed with cookies. I do see it working well in the sauces so I'm definitely going to give those a try though.
