Anyone every order a set of china from the wedding channel through Macy's and not have it wrapped up..?
I have a bridal shower Sunday and I ordered a set of Mikasa chine
I figured it would come in a nice box for me to wrap each piece of china is separate and its just all wrapped in bubble wrap and paper
Anyone ever get china like this? I just thought it was strange that it came like that
Im just going to leave it in their wrapping (although its not nice looking) and put it in a box I have

I actually received china like that once (for my wedding)... but all the other china I received through them was in a nice box.
When I ordered all of our misfit pieces I hadn't received, it came the way you described, too.

Usually, any place settings I've ordered/received online come in a nice box.
Any other pieces, bowls, etc, have come in bubble paper in a brown box (this is if the gift wrapping wasn't chosen).

Any other pieces, bowls, etc, have come in bubble paper in a brown box (this is if the gift wrapping wasn't chosen).
I received some place settings a gift that came wrapped in bubble wrap in a brown box... but all the rest came in nice boxes.

I got my china from them.. and they were in a brown box with bubble wrap.. but the actual China was in a seperate nicer box.. and we did not get in gift wrapped.

Its the first time it wasnt
I wonder if I go to the store if they will wrap it for me in a nice box. Im afraid it will break if I wrap it the way it came

I just got a whole set and almost all of it was in nice boxes with cardboard seperators. Only the dinner plates were wrapped individually in bubble wrap.
I wonder if they do that when they have pieces that broke, and the bubblewrapped ones are the extras from a set?

They probably would wrap it for you in a nice box but, they would charge you for it.
Since they shipped it to you and nothing broke, I would wrap the box it came in - it might not be as pretty as if it was in a nice box but, it seems to be packed safely.
