Anyone experience the heels of your feet in pain all the time?
I've had this feeling in my feet for 2-3 weeks now. You think after 8 hours of sleep your feet would be relaxed but that is when it hurts the most. I can't walk on the heels and after walking for a while then the pain will go away.

I used to. I went to the podiatrist and was diagnosed with Plantar Fascitis. The muscle in the bottom of your foot (that ends at your heel) gets tight and when you 'warm it up' by walking the pain goes away.
You can flex your feet for a few minutes before getting up. That didn't work for me and I would have pain 90% of the day so I had orthotics made and wear them in my shoes.

Yup, it sounds like plantar fascitis. I have it in my left heel. I have flat feet, so wearing orthotics in my shoes helps. Also, my podiatrist told me never to walk around my house without shoes, so I really try not to. I have to say that it took a lot of time, but after spending about the past year almost never walking around in socks or barefoot, I almost never have heel pain anymore. When I forget and start walking around without support, I will start feeling little twinges again.

I used to have that pain and was also diagnosed with plantar fascitis. I have extremely flat feet and my podiatrist told me that the muscles in my feet were tired from the heels and not being properly supported that they were almost spasming. Now I wear orthotics and don't have pain as often.

I also had the same problem...also had the same diagnosis. But I also had to keep getting cortizone shots in my heels
Honestly, it kept getting worse, even after all of that. I got pregnant and most of my pain went away

Re: Anyone experience the heels of your feet in pain all the time?
I had it in both feet. The cortisone shots didn't work for me and my podiatrist didn't presribe orthotics. I wore shoes with good arch support and a slight heel (no flats !) and stretched my feet every day, bending the foot upward. Rolling a tennis ball around with my feet helped too.
