Anyone experiencing rashes or reactions?

on their skin?

Im not bragging but I wasnt one to get acne ever and honestly I dont now being pg but I have this breakout only on my cheeks and they arent acne!

My mom suggested that my daily moisturizer might be it, hormones get all crazy and cause reactions even to things I was using prior.
So I stop for a wk...they are still here! Chat Icon

Should I see a determologist?

I dont really have any rashes- but my skin is breaking out like crazy. I know its got to be just the hormones- but still- I look gross!

See a derm. It could be rosacea or dermatitis. Doesn't sound like acne.

I have had the same thing - I think it is a combo of dry skin and a moisturizer that didn't "agree" with my skin. It comes and goes.

Re: Anyone experiencing rashes or reactions?

apparently it happens.... its all hormonal. I too never had any kind of skin problems... and now I am a mess!!

I even have started getting a rash-like line on my belly-- which I freaked about-- but its totally normal!!!

Re: Anyone experiencing rashes or reactions?

I had a bad rash on my legs from the knees down - looked like psoriasis. Went away after first trimester - doc said that rashes are normal during pregnancy.

I don't have pimples, but I have had these red dots on my chest since about 10 weeks. I keep getting more and more and now there are some on my arms too. My OB says the are broken blood vessels, and may not go away after the baby is born. I may have to have laser surgery to get rid of them.

I would ask your OB what he thinks. I saw your post that you are moving to N Massapequa. If you decide to go to a dermatologist, I know a good one right on Broadway. FM me if you want more info.

Deb, just recently I have red dots on my nose, but not acne, its more of a rash or broken blood vessels and I've got the flushed cheek look going lately...I would think its just a pregnancy thing

Re: Anyone experiencing rashes or reactions?

just the last few weeks of pg I had a rash that was so itchy on my legs and arms. I scratched so much I now have scars! Chat Icon but when I look at them, they remind me of my DD. I had to go the dermatolgist and get an RX too.

Thats what Im getting...a patch of bumps on my cheeks and they tend to get flushed more often.

Its annoying cause I feel insecure.

I know how you feel & it didn't help when one of my 4th graders says to me (while waiting for me to check hers & 10 other kids work), "what happened to your face?" I had no idea what she meant b/c I was fine when I left the house...I got paranoid.

It seems to be a bit better this week.

I was nervous too - and it really itched! I put desitin on it (a diaper rash cream that really really helped). I was convinced I was going to have scars and red marks on my legs forever - they're totally gone and my legs are back to normal.
