Anyone familiar with driving to NC -- need directions help please!
Hi --
I'm driving with my inlaws and 2 year old to Winston Salem Memorial Day weekend. Oh -- AND I'm 6 months PG (i know I know I'm insane.)
Anyway -- all the online directions are taking us through Jersey and down 95. i dont think thats the best way to go on a holiday weekend, but I cant figure out how to redirect the route further West. (like going through Pennsylvania) Any ideas?

not sure if I can help... but we drove to and from Georgia and we never got on 95! It was terrific! We went through NC-but not sure if it will help you because I don't know where in NC you are going...
Anyway, we did go through NJ, PA, Maryland (for about 10 minutes), West Virginia-very short amount of time too-Virginia-the longest!!!!!!! and so on...

We always take 78 to 81 to 77 - going to Charlotte.
It is MUCH better than taking 95. You can take this way to WS also, I know there is a sign for a highway that leads to WS off of 77.
This is how we go also.
