Anyone familiar with Queens College ?
I've never been there and I have an appointment at Kassena (??) Hall -- can anyone tell me how to get there from Wantagh??

exit 24 off the LIE is Kissena Blvd. make a right and go I believe 2-3 light it will be on your right the college but kissena hall is on the lft side of Kissena Blvd.

i went there for my master's at night & during the summer. great history & education programs. i liked most of my professors and had a very good working relationship with one in particular. we still work on some projects together 5 years after i graduated.
what program are you looking into?

I am interested in getting a Masters in Teaching English as a Seconf Language....but can you believe, the Professor (Chair of the Dept.) never showed up??? I left work an hour early and battled rush hour traffic for an hour to get there and...nothing!!! Boy I was p i s s e d !!!!

good luck! my sister went there for a short time she didn't like it she got home sick and went to suffolk or dowling i cant remember. but it does not mean you wont like it just wasn't the school for her.

that STINKS that he left you hanging! My FH starts the childhood special ed masters program there in Sept. Good luck to you!!! Rich told me that everyone he dealt with there was very nice.
