anyone feel weird when with friends

My DH, our parents and I decided not to tell anyone I'm pregnant until 12 weeks which is fine

So today I was out w/some friends and I just felt nauseous and icky....now if I was w/my DH I would just tell him how I feel...but I couldn't say anything, I HATED IT!!!

I have a few more weeks until I'm 12 weeks, how did you all keep it in so long????

I actually wound up telling my good friends at work, because I am with them every day and just couldn't hide it when I felt really sick. I've had a total aversion to the smell of microwave popcorn, so if we were sitting in our kitchen at work, I would literally have to leave the room. But, the way I look at it is they are some of the people closest to me, and should something horrible happen, I would want to share with them what I am going through anyway.

Strangely I don't feel this way about telling extended family, but I don't see them as often as my best work friends.

We chose to tell our closest friends and I am about 8 weeks. We figured that if anything were to happen, we would want them to know because they might have to pick us up when we were at that low. I am soooo happy we did! I respect your decision to wait though. I can imagine how it feels to feel that awful in front of people that don't know you are pg. Maybe just keep preggie pops near you (they look like candy anyway) and then you can hopefully pop one in when you are feeling bad? Only a few more weeks to go until you tell, right?

I couldn't keep it in so long with my close friends. I told them at about 5 weeks. I knew they would have known something was up once they realized I wasn't drinking anymore lol. But for those 5 weeks it was really hard!!!

I am 7 weeks and have not told anyone but my DH and my closest coworker. I feel terrible when i am talking to my 2 best friends and haven't shared the news (and it's killing me not telling my mother)- but my first appointment is on tuesday, so we're waiting till then. But i feel like everyone "knows" that i'm pregnant- i guess its paranoia

Being around everyone on thanksgiving and not drinking any wine and hoping that noone notices should be interesting!!
