Anyone follow the P90X nutrition plan?

FH and I just started P90X yesterday, what a butt kicker! Chat Icon He needs to lose about 50 lbs, I could stand to lose 5-10 and tone up a bit and I'm trying to be on board for him. But I'm finding the nutrition plan really hard to follow since the options are so limited! Has anyone else done this plan and had it work? I feel like Im starving all day! Any suggestions?

I really just want Chat Icon Chat Icon

I have not done it but a friend did and she looks awesome Chat Icon

If you are hungry I would suggest perhaps adding a fruit or yougurt or handful of almonds/dried cranberries tothe mix--you should not feel starved and if you do I would just add a healthy snack Chat Icon

Thanks Chat Icon They have those snacks built into the plan, maybe I'll just give myself an extra snack than what they recommend, as long as its healthy I guess it doesn't count as cheating?

Re: Anyone follow the P90X nutrition plan?

I just finished the P90X workout plan, and I did not incorporate the nutrition plan at all and I still had great results. Of course, I am sure if you stick with the nutritional and workout plan, you will get even better results quicker, but if you add an extra healthy snack (especially on the high calorie burning days like Plyo or Kenpo), I am sure you will be fine. And if you are feeling satisfied (not hungry), you will have the energy to work harder and burn more calories (so in the end it will all cancel out).

Good luck!
