Anyone from South Carolina or know Myrtle Beach area well?

I am trying to plan a trip there for the summer and I want to be in the heart of Myrtle beach but also near some amazing golf courses for dh.

The 2 towns we are looking at are:

Longs, SC
Murrells Inlet, SC

Don't know if one of these are really close or in Myrtle Beach,

I know there are some Sc ladies here, anyone wanna help..

definitely definitely surfside beach :)

it's a little closer to myrtle than murrell's inlet, and very easily accessible.

We spent some time down there the past 2 summers!

i agree with shorty---i actually used to live in surfside beach. its just south of myrtle beach......and its just far enough from myrtle beach...about 15 min. and like 25 min. from n. myrtle beach. i liked it there since it wasn't too far of a drive to get to the good stuff in myrtle beach....but it was enough that i didn't feel like i was in the middle of the craziness during the summer time!

murrell's inlet is much further south from MB. its a very nice area, but its definitely much more calm and closer to a lot of golf courses

ETA: not sure where longs, sc is. i honestly never heard of it--but i haven't lived in MB in about 6 years, and lived there for about 2
