Anyone get a stomach virus in your second or third trimester?
Dh just came down with a stomach virus and I'm getting worried I might catch it. I'm just worried if I catch it, I will have to go to the emergency room if I get dehydrated.
Just wondering if anyone had experience with this. I'm 33 weeks pregnant.

I did when I was 34 weeks preggo w/ DD. I called my OB and he wanted me to go to L&D to be monitored so that I wouldn't go into labor. I was literally throwing up every hour from 7pm-1am.
When I got there they hooked me up to an IV and put the monitor on for the baby. They wanted to keep me until I stopped throwing up and to ensure that contractions didn't start. I think I left there around 5am. I remember I went home and just slept the whole day. DD is going to be 8 in March. This was a long time ago but I still remember it like it was yesterday.

Oh god! This doesn't sound promising. My DH is just getting over another virus and has been coughing for about 2 weeks. I didn't get sick, so I'm hoping I don't get this. I'm also hoping my DS doesn't get it either. I think I will be sleeping on the couch tonight.

I swear the stomach virus is my biggest fear.. Just make sure you wash wash wash your hands constantly... Also wipe everything down with rubbing alcohol... Door knobs sinks faucets everything.. Hope this helps!! And I hope you don't come down with it...
