anyone get alimentum covered under insurance?
how did you go about doing that? i know the doctor needs to write a note.

we called apria and it was covered for both kids. and the best part is, the deliver it right to your door.

your pediatrician has to send your insurance a letter of medical necessity and a prescription i believe. some insurances will fight it pretty bad, but i know some will cover it. good luck.

I have aetna and when I called they said no, but when I went thru Apria Health care it was covered at 90%.

same here but its been covered at 100%.

Yes!! I have Blue Cross and they cover 90%
I mail in a claim form, dr's note of necessity & copies of receipt's and then they mail me back a check.
