Anyone Get Extensions???
ithink i am going to get some again and i am 99% sure i am going to this girl out on Long Island....
but first i just wanted to see if any of you get them and where and their prices and if you recomend?

i never have or will but my friend did and it looked gr8. however she paid thousands of dollars for it. its not cheap!!!!

yeah i know ive had them a few times before. once just platinum chunks against my brown hair, the next time brown, blonde and pink for length.
i ot tehm done for free cuz my *then* friend needed pics for her site.
i know someone i went to school with who does it out of her house for alot less though.
i am thinking of getting them done again for my birthday/anniversary.

I had them once.
they were braided extensions (a gazillion little boxed braids)- anyway, if you are doing real hair it's $$$$- i was in college at the time & did synthetic and it didn't work out because #1 I think i was allergic to the hair- it gave me a rash where-ever it touched- mainly on my neck and back (these went all the way down to my waist) #2- the hair holds water- so you can't really wash it that often and you can't just wash & go- it takes FOREVER #3- because I couldn't wash my hair that much, my scalp started to itch- BAD- it was unbearable....
so with that said, i'd NEVER, EVER wear synthetic again (keep in mind it cost me, back in 1996 $80.00 for the synthetic hair- not including labor).

jenn........ yes i want a full head. at least i think thats what i'd need cuz i am getting it for length.
sasyz... ive had long synthetic before and they didnt bother me. i too had them box braided in.
after a month my real hair started to grow in and get tangled around the braids though. that was pretty painful.
the girl i spoke to, well she said that she would do bonding. and she is WAY cheap. i mean i was shocked how cheap.

Can I ask how cheap is way cheap?? I've wanted extensions for soo long but never did it. my hair comes to the middle of my back but I'm obsessed with SUPER long hair! How much money are we talking here? And how long does it last?

she may have given me a lower price because i know her fom hs. want me to give you her myspace aprofile? shes got one for her extensions as well. im sure shell give you a good price.
mine would last one month
