Anyone go back and forth to the hospital towards the end of their pregnancy with false alarms??
I made my first trip there last night and was sent home....anyone else??

Yup, I did once with Sarah. And at least for me, the contractions with false labor were a lot more intense than my actual early labor.

i did... was put on terbutaline and hydrated and sent home...at 28 weeks!

i went 4 times before it was actual labor. i was dehydrated a lot which caused cramping and contractions.
they always told me, you would know when you are in labor..and OH BOY do you know when you are in labor!!
my husband told me this time around there will be no false alarms lol

once at like 33 weeks or so. Actually it was my doctor who sent me saying I was in labor. I had a non stress test and the doctor said I was contracting every 5 minutes and the babies heart rate dropped on the contractions. I had no clue the contractions didn't feel like much - it wasn't until after the dr told me aboutthe results of teh test that I felt them even stronger. Sent me straight to the hospital saying they were ready to deliver. After about 2 hours it stopped and after that only contractions here and there for the next few weeks. Went into labor for real first day of my 37th week.

My OB sent me twice for monitoring and false labor. I would never mistake false labor for real labor again - real labor reeeeally hurst
