anyone going away 4th of july weekend?
We are going to ocean city, md...5 hrs in the car ughhhh!!!!!!!! silly question but I probably will take caution regardless...someone just told me that you cant go in the beach water bc the waves are too much crashing against your belly. they told me someone had a miscarriage.

Huh? I would be more afraid of falling down and getting pulled under if the waves are crashing that hard. Just use your discretion

I think you should be fine, just don't stand right in the break. The waves wouldn't stop me from going in.

I think the part to me wary of is the "someone told me, someone had" as long as your footing is secure and your not being nailed by huge breakers you will be fine and enjoy the water. I spent the ALOT of my pregnancy in the Gulf, pools, wave runner (well the first few months) and boating.
I think most important you should make sure you are super hydrated.

I was told to get out and walk approx every hour for a long car ride. I know that't not totally possible, but maybe try to stop at least once and walk around.

Re: anyone going away 4th of july weekend?
just came back from weekend at myrtle beach. I am officially a sicko. i thought the waves were going to cause a miscarriage. I flipped out the first day. The second day, Leo towed me far out on a boogie board where there was no possiblilty of waves crashing.
It feels so good to get the stress of your chest off of you in the water.
have fun!

I just got back too! Saw your pics you looked like you had a great time! Well, I stayed out of the water but went on the beach. Though with sun block I fried a little but its browning now. (not the belly) Anyone who hasnt gone to ocean city maryland...I highly recommend it! It was so much fun!!!!
