Anyone going to see the Eisenhower Park fireworks tonight?
Is anyone going to see the fireworks tonight? Where is the best place to see them outside of the park? I would prefer not to have to deal with the traffic in the park.
I thought I heard that you can see them from the top floor of the parking garages at Roosevelt Field.

We usually park across the street at SYMS.
I've also heard parking on top of the Source Mall gives you a good view. We might go there.

That makes sense, because the Source is closer than Roosevelt Field.

Thanks for the suggestion for Syms!! We parked right next door at the computer store and the view was great!!

We were in East Meadow tonight and drove right through them on the way home. People were at Borellis and the bank across the street.

We parked right in the 1600 Stewart Ave building, set up our chairs on the side of the road and had a perfect view, they were right in front of us.
Thanks for the suggestion! And we made a left onto Merrick Road, took Salisbury Park Drive home and avoided all the traffic.

I was in the same parking lot. We got their early. My husband made a left on Merrick & we got home in no time.

ditto for us too! we parked at the old 800flowers.com building on the corner of Stewart Ave and Merrick Ave and just sat on the grassy hill. We had a perfect view!

I was there since Its commerce bank who does them no joke took me less then 10 minutes to get through the park AWESOME. And once you got to Hempstead turnpike there was nothing!
