Anyone good a photoshop?
I wanna make a design for Ryans b-day invites...
Like a few different pics... from birth til now (like 4 pics...) and a cute little saying ( Months have past, and gone by fast- The time has come- Ryans turning one!) and then all the b-day party info....
Then I could just have 5x7 photos made with the original file @ shutterfly or something....
I have the program- if anyone wants to give me a brief idea, on what needs to be done... or if anyone just wants to play with it for me Ill send you the pics I want to use....
TIA
ETA- this is the general idea im looking for...
You'd think DH who holds a degree in comp. graphic design could help me out Image Attachment(s):

Re: Anyone good a photoshop?
I would help you out Marissa, but I'm STILL trying to figure out how to do this myself. I don't know how to add borders or that black area with writing on it...
If anyone knows, I'd love to know how to do that too!!!!!!!!

Re: Anyone good a photoshop?
You need to open a new blank document (it'll ask you what size you want to do it, make sure you choose 300dpi for resolution). You can either import each photo you want to use or open them each individually and click and drag (using the MOVE tool on the upper right hand corner of the pallette) to put them into the photo. Choose Free Transform from the Edit menu (I think, otherwise, it's under Image) to resize - if you hold down shift and resize from the corner, it'll automatically maintain the dimensions so you don't get a warped photo. Then using move again, place photos wherever you want. click on the Text tool - about halfway down on the right side of the palette (looks like a big T) to create a text box.
That's probably the simplest way to do it, feel free to FM me if I can help.
