Re: Anyone good at interpreting dreams?

Ok, I'll hit ya with the one I had the other night. Let's see if you can follow it. I barely can!

Ok, so, in my dream, it started out that I was in my basement in the dark. I looked over to my right and saw a ghost. I was scared, but then I realized the ghost was ME and it became oddly comforting. Next thing I know, I'm in school telling my friends at work about seeing myself as a ghost at home. Magically, I was back at home again, but I was alone. I was feeling scared since I had seen myself as a ghost and called my friend to come over. I looked out the window and saw her driving up to my house, which was in a cul-del-sac, with her son in the passenger seat. They came into my house, but it was very dark. The next thing I know, my oven is on fire. My friend's son puts out the fire and turns to me and says, "Hey, there's a moth in here." And for some reason, it just made sense to us that there would be a moth in there after a fireChat Icon
Then, all of a sudden, I was in a high school teaching a class. The bell rang and the kids all got up to go, but I stopped them and said, "I know the bell rang, but I didn't dismiss you." Two tall boys started yelling and cursing at me and I said, "I'm not going to stand for this." I went to the principal with my other friend and we told him that we didn't appreciate how rude the kids in the school were to us. He proceeded to call in a group of high school girls and told us that he stood by the students and we would have to put up with it. Then he yelled at me for wanting to put on a production of Grease with the kids, and I yelled, "Dont' you know anything?! It's a children's version of Grease!" And poof, all of a sudden, my friend and I were in her station wagon driving down this beautiful street. It was fall and the leaves were falling from the trees. Gorgeous houses lined this street and I noticed a man with his two small children piliing up branches by the street, but his next door neighbors were outside raking, dressed in black with black ski masks on. As we drove down the street, we saw more and more men dressed in black with ski masks raking on lawns. We started to realize they were all prisoners, and the houses were getting scarier looking. That's when I woke myself upChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

ETA: I forgot to add this! After I woke myself up, I fell back to sleep and my dream picked back up where it left off. We were in her car with the men in ski masks everywhere, and then the next thing I knew, we were in an amusement park with our husbands. We were staying at a hotel that was IN the amusement park and outside our window was a log flume. I could see all the water rushing through the slides on the flume, but the park was closed, so it was all peaceful looking. We decided to leave because we realized the park wouldn't open up for us. We got back in the car and drove up to another part of the park where there was all water rides. I realize now that it was Hershey Park's water rides that I saw in my dream. Anyway, we commented on how we didn't know there was parking there and would have parked there. Next thing I know, there was someone running towards the car, shooting a gun and I woke up.

ETA: Yet again...I completely forgot two parts of the dream. At one point, I was at a marina and someone, who could have been my brother (I don't actually have one) was getting married to some really b-tchy girl. She was sitting at a picnic table in a wedding gown and kept taking Ava (who was only a few weeks old in my dream) and trying to make her her own baby instead of mine. She kept trying to feed her. Them we went on this huge ferry and it started to spin really fast and waves were coming up on us, so JT and I got off the boat. We wound up in the mall and everyone was laughing and smiling because there was someone dressed up like Pootie Tang (if you've ever seen that movie, you'll know what I'm talking about), but when you would walk up to him to say hi or give him a high five, he'd slash you with a knife. So, we got scared and went into a store to get a drink. The guy serving the drinks looked just like Dwight from The Office, and I made a lame joke and said, "Hey, what are YOU doing here? Shouldn't you be in an office?" Har, har. He didn't think it was funny.

BTW: Here's Pootie TangChat Icon

Re: Anyone good at interpreting dreams?

That is a crazy dream!! I am suprised you remember that much of it. I have crazy dreams like that to.

Ok this is what I could find! This is what happens when you can't sleep. I guess you just need to read all of them, and put your own interpretation together. It seems you have a lot going on!

I couldn't find anything about ex-cons in ski masks, raking leaves in a suburban neighborhood. SORRY!! Chat Icon

Re: Anyone good at interpreting dreams?

I think its common to have dreams like that when you are feeling anxious about something. I would say the first part could represent fear of being alone and fear of being abandoned?

No problem! Yeah, I can never sleep. Since working overnights, trying to sleep on a regular schedule is impossible.
