Anyone have a baby one year or younger who had this recent stomach bug?
I feel like DD is just NOT getting better.
I heard from a friend who's 4 month old had it that her ped said it could last in their systems for 7-10 days! 
She only vomitted once- on Monday night last week. Then she was ok, just a bit off.
On Wednesday she started with the diarrhea- maybe 2 loose. messy diapers a day.
I spoke to the ped's office and they said to just ride it out- as long as she was taking her formula (which she is) and having wet diapers (which she is) there really isn't much we can do about it.
She refuses pedialyte.
They suggested the BRAT diet- but she is refusing all cereal and most fruits too.
She is at the point that when she just SEES the spoon she gets hysterical and turns her head, puts her hands up, etc.
Sometimes I can get some applesauce in her with a fight...forget bananas though. I think she just hates them in general.
And she gags on her cereal.
She is in decent spirits, napping well, sleeping ok, taking her bottles...but her stomach is still messed up judging by the loose diapers and the refusing of solids.
So I guess my question is, if you have a baby who is a year or under who had this recent stomach virus- how long did it last?

DD had it just after she turned 1 and it lasted a good 8-10 days. It just took her so long to get back to normal.
My older son (3 1/2) had it and it lasted 24hrs.

Yeah they say that when they are under 3, their immune systems just aren't as strong
I guess that's it.
I was just getting concerned how long it's lasting.

DS didn't have this one but, he had one earlier this year.
I was told 7-10 days and he had it for 8.
It's good your DC is drinking - that's the most important part.

DD had something similar and it lasted about 4 days. Did you try giving her the apple flavored pedialyte?? DD doesn't like the plain flavor but loves apple.

DD had something similar and it lasted about 4 days. Did you try giving her the apple flavored pedialyte?? DD doesn't like the plain flavor but loves apple.
My Dh had bought strawberry.
She took about an ounce and that was it.
I tasted it though and can see why- it tastes terrible- has this horrible medicine after taste!
