I have one and haven't had any issues. I have all my accounts with Citibank was able to open the e-savings online without any problems. Transfering money between the accounts are easy, I just do it online or on the phone.

This would be my only citibank account.

I don't think you have to be a Citibank account holder.... I'd assume that the money transfer is similar to ING's process. I'm sure it's in the directions or you can call customer service to confirm.

Re: anyone have a Citbank E-savings account?
We have one and have no problems. We have other accounts at Citibank so transfering is easy for us. You shouldn't have a problem. DH also started a e-saving at HSBC. We have no other accounts there and have no problems.

Re: anyone have a Citbank E-savings account?
I have the e-savings. No fees at all. I did have to open an e-checking account too, but I just placed $100 in there just open it and they sent me a check book, but I don't use it. All my savings is in the e-savings and it definteily brings a nice 5% return. I did it all online and get statements in the mail each month. My normal banking is at Chase,so this is just so I can have a savings with 5%. I think its worth it.
ETA: I don't have any direct deposit. Actually, I have not put in or taken money out of the account since I opened it last April.
