Anyone have a good family photographer recommendation?
I keep telling DH to pick up the #$@%! camera and take pictures of me with Madeline, but he never does. So I'm going to go to a professional. Anyone know a good children/family photog? I'd like candid /photojournalistic shots, ideally on location. Thanks !

How about Barb (nrthshgrl)? She does outdoor shots only I think but they are gorgeous!
I don't think she'll do it. She says people ask her and she says no.

Duet did my wedding too. I actually wasn't thrilled with them( I should have been more clear about what I wanted,but they also didn't take the best shots or do good post processing, IMO), but their baby pix look good!

My friend is an incredible photographer and he does family and children shoots on location. he charges a flat rate for the shoot itself (not expensive) and then just gives you all the shots on a disc and you can print any or all of them when and where you like. He has done all my kids pictures and is actually now doing my sisters wedding.
Here is his number, give him a call. A few ladies on here have already used him and loved him.

You know, he was working on one but I am not sure. If you send me your e-mai address I can send you some pictures that he took of my kids so you can see his work. He is really great. The pictures of his own kids and family are unbelievable. Let me know if you want me to shoot you some of the pictures.

I'll do outdoor shots for a donation for DebG - otherwise, I suggest Lorimarie. I think she's extremely creative & very talented.

In fact, she just did a hugggggge charity event for me. Her pics were insane! she does all xmas pics you name it...
you cam fm me for her # if u are interested..I do not want to post her home # without asking her--although I am sure its ok--I just dk if her cell is for business

This. she did my dd's newborn photos. We ended up outside at some point because my dd refused to sleep. The shots came out beautiful. She is so incredibly patient!
