Anyone have a hard time Memorial Day Weekend?
We had a party at our house, and it was torture watching everyone drink Coronas, but DH bought me virgin Pina Coladas, and they were awesome!

My Dad brought honeymoons (blue moons summer ale) over to my house yesterday,he walked in the door and I told him to go back home once I saw he was carrying in my FAVORITE summer beer!!!! LOL I did take a sip  THAT is going to be hard this summer, especially since yesterday I had just finished doing yardwork and usually I'll sit outside admire my gardening skills ( ) & enjoy a nice cold one....this time, I had water...NOT THE SAME!

YES, yesterday everyone but me was drinking, and I was so craving it , probably for that reason. I was dreaming of having a drink when Im not PG.

I know what you mean. DH and I didn't have any plans for the first time in a long time since we thought this baby would be here. We had a last min BBQ yesterday with a few pple and watching then drink HoneyMoon beer looked sooo good. When I think of this time of year I usually picture bikinis, drinks, friends, etc... now I'm excited to be a mom, but a bikini or alcohol is the furthest thing.

It is all going to be worth it, but the first bbq, and no beer, was so HARD!!!!!!! Dh kept telling me, it must be so hard, watching everyone drink...i was like YEAH!

YES all weekend with all the bbqs we went to it was really hard being the only person without a cocktail. It almost made me feel like I just wanted to go home, not that drinking is the end all be all but i felt like the odd man out and watching everyone get buzzed it was quite boring after a while!

My brother bought a bunch of different beers and I tasted 3 of them. (tiny sip each) DH told me he was horrified seeing me do that. He worries too much! It would have been nice to have a couple.

I really wanted a beer. I also wanted to go to the beach but I laid out in the backyard on Saturday and overheated in 10 minutes. No beach for me this summer.

Yup! I went to a winery with my parents, and while it was nice being outside and enjoying the beautiful weather, my water in my wine glass wasn't quite doing the trick!

I totally agree!!!! I was just looking around at everyone after a while..thinking..okay, leave now! So boring when you are the only one not buzzed..

I took a SIP of my friend's wine and my DH was like "Are you planning on hurting my baby?" No...but I'm planning on hurting you if you keep this up...

I enjoyed a red wine spritzer... about an ounce of red wine - and about 6-7ounces of seltzer.... tons of ice....
In a really big red wine glass
- it made be feel like I was really having a beverage although I barely was
I am looking forward to enjoying a real glass of wine after the baby is here....

I enjoyed a nice cold beer - my doctor said it was fine to enjoy one every now and then
I savored every sip
One glass of wine or one beer is fine....enjoy

we hosted a party and I made of HUGE batch of sangria.
I *heard* it was awesome. 
I have allowed myself a small glass of wine here and there this pregnancy, so I probably will continue throughout the summer.
I won't be having any cocktails though.
and the sangria I make is chock o bock with Brandy, so that's why that was off my list (though I did take 2 tasting sips at first. I had to call in a taster )

YES!! I have to say i REALLY miss drinking. I certainly wasnt a big drinker by any stretch, but now that i cant have it, i miss it.
I did take 2 small sips of champagne at an anniversary party this wkd and a small sip of wine at dinner the other night.
And WOW was it GOOOOOOOOOD

nahhh..im not a drinker at all. maybe an amaretto sour here and there. but really..i have no desire for beers or mixed beverages.
wine gives me headaches almost immediately. so i just steer clear.

I miss having a drink here and there!!
This weekend was BORING! I left teh house Sunday to go to stores with DH and I thought i was gonna pass out! It felt so hot out to me.. I had to get home ASAP! I am on rest so going out and doing things are very limited!
There is always next year to look forward too or 4th of Juky for me this year.. DS will be here by then and hopefully a few weeks old!!!

Hi, A friend of mine who was pregnant last summer told me about Beck's non-alchoholic beer. she said it tastes like a real beer so you do not feel like you are completely left out of the festivities. I am still in my first trimester but once I hit the second, I plan to pick up some Becks n/a!!

Eh - it wasn't that bad, although BBQ-ing and beer drinking go hand-in-hand 
I just stuck to my mix of seltzer and mixed berry juice.
