Anyone have a Honda CRV with 2 car seats?

Im due with baby #2 in february and I'm not sure where to put the 2nd car seat. I've read that in the CRV you cant put one in the middle and one behind the passenger, it would have to be behind passenger and driver. DS is currently forward facing behind the passenger, is it safe to put the newborn rear facing behind the driver? I'm freaking out about this. What's the best thing to do?

My youngest dd was behind me. She still is. No issues at all.

I have a cr-v with 2 car seats next to eachother. Was it in the manual that said you can't put the 2 seats together? The seats fit well & seem secure but now I'm worried if you read it somewhere. My toddler is forward facing behind the driver's seat & my baby is rear facing in the middle.

I'm sorry for the confusion. I read you cant do passenger side and middle next to each other bc they share the anchors and latch but you can do middle and driver side bc they dont share the anchors and latch. I was more concerned if it's safe to put one behind the driver side.

I used to have two RF (one on the driver's side and one on the passenger's side). Now they're both FF...either way no problems!

Our twins were rear facing one behind the driver, one behind the passenger and are now forward facing same way. No issues and having twins left no choice in the matter! Chat Icon

I have a 2010 crv I have my 3 year old behind the passenger seat baby number 2 is coming in March I will switch my 3 year old behind my seat and move the baby to behind the passenger seat so I can get a view on her when I'm driving.
