Anyone have a sore spot on their belly from baby kicking?
I have one spot on my belly where the baby kicks a lot, and for the last few days it's been pretty sore in that spot. It doesn't quite feel like round ligament pain or anything else - really just plain old sore. The only thing I can chalk it up to is that it's literally like bruised on the inside from all the movement? Does that make sense? As of the sono yesterday, I learned it's the spot where the baby's feet are, so? I dunno?

Yup! I joke about it and say that it's the baby's escape hatch! !

I had this feeling on my right side directly under my ribs for a solid 10 weeks. It was horrible but once I saw the ultrasound it made sense- she was curled up with her knees right at the sore spot. It went away immediately after birth.

yep - happened to me. The whole top of my belly would be sore by the end of the day or if I bent down to pick something up. My doctor said I was literally like a punching bag and as long as I wasn't having contractions and could still feel the baby, I just had to wait for it to pass. It did get better, but it was about a month.
