Anyone have a super easy time...
installing the car seat?
I hate to say it, but I think DH did something wrong b/c it took no time at all for him to install our Graco SnugRide. I've heard people struggling for hours and getting very frustrated & he had it installed and set in about 5-10 minutes.
He said it was easy b/c our car has the LATCH system.
We're hoping to get it inspected, but I'm just wondering if anyone else found it very easy.

well, it took DH about 10 min as well and he SWORE he did it right. Well, guess what? He didn't. I'm so glad I took it to have it inspected...he didn't even come close to having it as tight as it should be...

Took Dh all of 5 minutes, I thought it must be in wrong too. We havent had it inspected yet but we have had all our friends look at it ( who have kids) and a firefighter DH bowls with and they said it was fine.

My DH is an EMT, so he knows how to install them from work. He installed it as I was walking out the door to go to the hospital.
Cindy, isn't your husband a firefighter? I thought they learned to do it at somepoint.

I'll let you know after this weekend. DH is finally putting our Snugride in. We'll have his brother in law, who is SCPD, look at it to be sure it's right. If you want to be sure, have it inspected.

didn't take DH long at all (10-15 min), our neighbor helped him and swore it was in correctly, went to the state trooper and it was wrong so the police officer had to reinstall it in my car, so i told DH how to do it correctly yin his car, took him all of 5 min once he knew the right way

I read the instructions and DH installed it. We took our time. It was relativelly easy with the LATCH system and the Snugride.
We had installed it properly except that the guy had us remove the seat protection pad underneath.
