Anyone have a turkey chili recipe to share?
I'm not a fan of beans normally...but I have been wanting to try making a chili of some sort. Anyone have any recipe's to share? Something easy...as this is my first attempt. Thanks.

I just use the 99% FF turkey chopped meat with a can of hunts tomato sauce, a can of dark red beans, and a Mild Chili packet (El Paso I think?). Take 10 minutes and everybody in this house loves it with whole wheat tortilla chips!

Re: Anyone have a turkey chili recipe to share?
DH doesn't eat chili, so I'll usually make it for myself and have a ton left over. I put half in the frig to use for lunch for the week and the other half in the freezer for a later time.
1 lb ground turkey 1 can diced tomatoes 1 green bell pepper (chopped) 1 onion (chopped) 4 garlic cloves (minced) 1 can cannelloni beans 1 can light red kidney beans 1 can chickpeas 1 can pinto beans 1 can corn 2 tablespoons olive oil salt, pepper, chili powder to taste
Sautee the garlic, onion, and pepper in a large pot in oil until tender. Add turkey and separate turkey with a wooden spoon. Cook until turkey is no longer pink. Add remaining ingredients and cook covered for approximately 30 minutes.

Re: Anyone have a turkey chili recipe to share?
I started doing mine in the crockpot now and keep in mind DH can't eat any seeds (so only tomatoe puree) and can't eat any corn, so i don't use it.
-1 pkg ground turkey -1 large can tomatoe puree -1 red pepper chopped -1 jalepeno chopped -garlic (prob about 4 cloves) -1 chopped onion -1 can red kidney beans -1 can refried beans (healthy way to make it nice and thicl, really gives chili a great consistency) -Chili powder -black pepper -ground cumin
(I don't measure anything, so i just eyeball the spices)
I throw it all in all in the crockpot and go to work! haha You could easily do it on the stove as well tho.
