Anyone have an expansion tank for hot water???
I have seen a few houses like this and I was wondering if this was common. No hot water heater but an expansion tank attached to the oil burner

I have seen houses with only the expansion tank NO hot water heater...So it would be far less gallons of hot water

I have only an expansion tank. I have no problem with hot water and never run out. My DH and I take our showers one after the other, so it is about an hour during the week and we never run out on the weekends it could be up to about 1.5 and still no problem.
