I know I have at least two bridesmaid dresses, maybe one or two more.
They are actually in a tote in the trunk of DH's car. I took them from my Dad's house the other day and was actually looking into a place to donate them to. I might have shoes to match. Size 10 dress and shoes.
I'm so glad I saw your post. I wanted to donate them to such a cause.
FM me on how I can get them to you.

I've cleaned my closet out several sizes ago but if someone wants to organize a night for donations, maybe we can have a GTG at a place for accessories & all chip in?
Otherwise, you can count me in for a monetary donation. Just let me know how I can get it to you.

Can I just tell you I think you are a very amazing woman for doing this for the girls.
I worked at a substance abuse clinic for almost two years as an intern. It was for adults only, but majority of them were in the same predicament as these girls. Homeless, living in shelters, etc.
I will check my closet, I'm pretty sure I have some. Please let me know how I can get these to you.
Is there any particular size you need?

I have a maternity bridesmaid dress in red that I wore for my sister's wedding (I think it was a size 1x from David's Bridal). I'm not sure if you have any preggos in your group...but you are welcome to it  It's in my old closet at my mom's house along with matching shoes. Let me know!

I have a black Nine West dress (12 petite) that you can definitely have. Sleeveless with some black embroidered detail on top.

Wow...thank you all so much....you have no idea what this means to us....I am trying to coordinate w/ the building director and get this going again....They cancelled due to the no dress issue, so I'm trying to assure them that I "know" some very nice people who can make this happen for us...I am so grateful to everyone, so grateful....I will get back to all my FM's in the next day or so, and make arrangements to take everyone up on their generosity.....I don't want to put any of you out, since you are doing me and my company a favor, and will make sure my pick up is convenient for you. Thank you again everyone.....the support I have gotten in the last hour is amazing.....it blows my mind....again, thank you...and I promise, I post pics of my girls the day of

I wouldn't do that. You're crossing privacy/confidentiality if you do that.
I know you're not a counselor to them, but there is a privacy issue here.

I definitely have one birdesmaid dress with matching shoes (lilac) ! and some costume jewelry too.
Maybe you can post on craigslist? I think everyone has some fancy clothes to get rid of.
and you might even find people that want to help get them dolled up, hair/makeup etc.
also, do they want clothing donations in general (While we're at it ??) or handbags, etc ?
I think this is amazing of you to do this!
and I can never thank you enough for the info you gave me when I needed it !

You can post a wanted ad on Freecycle too, people there are great about donating to causes like this.
I have at least a couple of dresses & maybe some shoes, I work in Massapequa four days a week so I could meet you there. I'll ask my co-workers if they have anything too.
