I have one too. I just to have to get it out of storage. I bought it off of ebay but never wore it. It made need a dry cleaning because I have it stored in our closet that is in the basement. But it's cute. I am in the Patchogue area.

I just want to thank everyone for your support....The response to my post has been overwhelming...we are all in shock because we really thought this was a no go..... Not only I, but the girls want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will take any donations you have and whatever isn't used we will donate to another not for profit for the same use...This building is new and it is a new program for us, and it was never anticipated that things like a prom, dance or graduation party would upset these girls so much even though they are where they should be for right now...
I truly thank everyone and am getting through all my FM's.....I am amazed at the power of this site and the fact that I left work so upset and at a loss for what to do, and now, I can't wait to tell them the good news tomorrow...
Again, thank you all so much, I will be in touch with all of you....... LIke i said, I do not want to put anyone out for this, so I will make sure any pick ups are convenient for you....without you all, this would not be possible, I owe you all so much.....thank you again.... - Tina

what else can we do ?
esp things via computer, maybe make up formal programs (is it also a graduation?) or some sort of comemorative printout/document/certificate..
maybe if anyone has frames they no longer want, for the girls to put their favorite photos of that special night..
Why dont you add to the first post, anything else that teen girls would like as donations? (what do you think?) trust me, it makes us all HAPPY to know that things are going to be appreciated by girls that are changing their lives around to become strong, amazing women!
oh, once my mind starting racing...I can go on and on here

I'm pretty sure I have at least one dress,if not more, but they are all from when I was in high school so they are pretty small.. like size 0, 1, maybe 2.. if there is anyone who these would fit, let me know
Do you know all the girls sizes already?

I recently donated some things but I am not finished cleaning out my closets and I intend to get more done within the next week. There have to be more dresses in my stash and I will let you know if I find anything that might work for your girls.

I was just looking in my closet today and thinking I wish I knew where to donate some dresses. I have a few that I know I won't get back into as well as a very pretty bridesmaid dress.

I know you need 16 dresses but I'm sure you'd want them to be able to choose from a bunch & not wear something they didn't like. I'm sure a Craigslist posting would yield a lot of options too. Maybe you can get their sizes?
I found some fake rhinestone & pearl necklaces & earrings. I may have some old purses.
We can spread the word among parents & go to the local high schools & ask as well. I'm a chairperson of on a soccer league & could start an email chain among the parents.
My boss has a daughter who is a senior now. She's been to junior proms last year & 2 senior proms this year - all with a new dress. I can ask him if his wife would give them up.
For the girl graduating, can we chip in for an updo? This is in the Bronx, right?

I have a bridesmaid dress I can give you. I am not sure what size it is, but i would be happy to donate it. Just let me know what I need to do. I'll be sure to get it from my parents house when i go this weekend.

Hey,
I'm new to this site, but I saw this post and just wanted to help. I work with a similar population, and what you're doing is so great! My sister has 2 prom dresses (at least one is Jessica McClintock, probably size 0 or 2) and I have a semi-formal dress (size 0) that I can have for you the second week in June. Let me know if you'd like them!

I have quite a few cocktail dresses and most I wore only once, if they would suit. Sizes 2, 4, 6 and European 10 (6). I could arrange to meet you any weekend between now and then.
