I know someone that sent their child there and said it wasn't worth the cost. It's very expensive.

Re: Anyone have any feedback regarding Laurel Hill Preschool?
I have heard really good things about the school. Both of my bosses sent their children their and they really had a lot of wonderful experiences. I was going to send Noah - but it was simply too far for us to justify - especially after I found a wonderful school in East Islip which was much closer to our town. There are a few Laurel Hill graduates on the board (adults) here as well!
I'd say go and check it out! You never reallyl learn as much from other people or from their advertisements as you will from going in person and talking to the administrators about their mission, goals and vision.
Good Luck!

I thought for sure when i moved to the area that I'd send my kids to Laurel Hill, but then we went to tour Harbor Country Day School in St. James and got a MUCH better impression. I think Harbor is just as academic, but they really have a much more personable and socially based program. (IMO.)

Re: Anyone have any feedback regarding Laurel Hill Preschool?
Hi Morgan, I actually went there when i was in kindergarten (it was called First Steps then) and my mother told me it was a wonderful school and she regrets taking me out and putting me in public school. I also attended summer camp there from the age of 8-16, then became a counselor myself. It's a great place, with great owners. I would def check it out.

I hear its a ton of $$$$$. Other local preschools offer the same services but for half the cost.
