anyone have any good mortgage recommendations

I've heard bofa may be contributing to closing costs and I know bethpage has some low rates right now, anyone else? Need a mortgage ASAP, I have a preapproval but want to shop around and make sure I am getting the best deal!

I used Bruce Silva at Contintenal. I told him the lowest rate at that time and he matched it. Also, it took no time for my mortgage to go through underwriting.

I'm also using Continental... I'm always e-mailing them through my Blackberry when I'm "on the go' and my guy, Joe, gets back to me so quickly.

We have nothing but great things to say about Bethpage. Everything from the application to the closing was completely painless and quick! They were very easy to reach by email, and we would get a response within an hour.

not sure what the rates are now, but we are verrrrry happy with our rate and couldn't find it anywhere else unless we bought points.

i used Continental - Tony Auffant and had a pleasurable experience. clear to close within almost thirty days and that was when teh 1st time homebuyer crunch was impacting time.
