i'm in charge of planning my cousin's baby shower because her mom doesn't have any money Chat Icon it's going to be at my house and i'm paying for just about everything. Chat Icon

i don't mind at all, but i'm trying to save as much money as i can. she's having a boy and it stinks because i threw out all my boy baby shower decorations over a year ago.

does anyone have any left over that they're getting rid of or don't want? i don't care about theme, design, etc. but it would be one less thing i'd have to buy.

i want to make this shower nice for her, and buy her a nice present, but i'm due in 2 months and don't have a lot of extra money and my maternity leave is unpaid.

I don't have decorations but if you're interested and having less than 32 guests I have 32 favors left from my wedding that I've been looking to get rid of. They are Cucina Italiana bread trays and are wrapped in white paper w/ blue ribbon...

I have not had my shower yet, it is on October 11th. I am not sure what the theme or decorations are going to be, but if the shower you are planning is later than October 11th I will save whatever I can for you.

Also, try the dollar store. They have tons of stuff to use for cute decorations.

thanks ladies!

yes, i'd be interested in both! we're probably only having 15 people.

the shower date hasn't been set yet but it's looking like it might be oct 17.

i know i can go to the dollar store, but every dollar adds up. i am buying the food, invites, a gift, drinks, plates/cups/etc, cake, and everything else. Chat Icon i want to make this really nice and i know i'll spend $$$ if i start shopping.

I wish I had some for you. I know we did my friend's babyshower very inexpensively with dollar store things.

Why not make it a potluck? or have it a restaurant where ppl pay for themselves? as if you were just going out to lunch/dinner together? Can anyone help you?
