Anyone have bday party at My Gym or been to one there? (RE: waiver they want signed with invitaion)
I'm having my ds' party at My Gym and my dh just picked up the invites and they have a waiver that must be filled out with lots of personal info ON the invitation. I personally would be a bit put off by this and since I'm inviting ds's class and I don't know some of the parents I don't want this to deter them from bringing their dc.
Should I send out my own invites and if the gym insists have the parents fill out the form at the party?
Have you seen/done this before?

When we had my DS's party there in November, I asked them if I had to use their invitations or if I could use my own. They told me I could use my own and that they didn't need the signed waivers. I gave them back their invites and I used my own. I'm not sure if it varies from location to location - I would just ask the owner to be on the safe side.

Not there but DS was invited to a bouncer place party and they had the waiver. I was surprised at first but I signed.

They will not allow the child to participate without the signed waiver in most places.

when we booked with bounce U they send invites; but you can use your own. however, the waivers were to be available that day of the party for parents to sign. no child is allowed to participate with out the waiver.

I had DD's bday party at My Gym in January, they didn't even give me the option of using their invites (I didn't even know they did that). We didn't have to sign anything either

We've been to plenty of parties at My Gym and never signed anything. No problems....no questions asked...a waiver was never even brought up.

Same, also a bouncer place.
We went to a party at The Little Gym, and I don't remember anything like that from them, though that was about a year ago.

I have been to two bday parties at W Babylon. The first one never had the waiver and the second one had the waiver card and I filled it out but no one asked for it!

We've been to parties at several places that required the waivers. As a guest I would rather get it in advance and have it ready than have to fill it out as we are entering a party. The waivers don't mean a heck of a lot anyway. These places are still subject to a lot of liability. I still they think should use waivers for a variety of reasons.
