For those that have DirecTV, who do you have internet and phone service with?
We have verizon and have it bundled. I HATE DSL!!

What don't you like about DSL? Can you give me a comparison to Optimum Online?

We had DirecTv for 8years and our trees are just to big so we had shotty reception. They came to fix it last month and said it's a no-go for poor reception and cnx our service  We went to a local digital provider and I freaking HATE IT! The second we get some free money we're getting the trees cut down and doing a bundle through AT&T. They do internet, phone, and now offer DirecTv. Man I miss them!

Look into DishNetwork. They use different satellites, so they are pointed in different directions. You can get the locations from http://www.dishnetwork.com/SupportSection/FileStream.ashx?ID=685
You may not get a signal from them, either, but it's worth a look. FIL couldn't use DishNetwork, but could use DirecTV because of where the satellites were positioned compared to his trees. SIL, who lives next door to FIL has DishNetwork.
