Anyone have DVR through Time Warner?
Okay this sounds like a weird problem because believe me I LOVE the DVR to death!!! But do you find that it "cuts off" shows before they are over? For example, some shows on MTV run over the :30 minute mark and the DVR cuts it off at exactly :30 so I miss the "coming up next week" stuff. DH tells me I have to tape the show that comes on after so I can see the whole thing. I say no I am not doing that! I know this sounds like a stupid complaint but it bothers me....I think maybe its just a glitch that will be perfected one day.

if you go to the series manager, you can choose to tape the show starting X amount of minutes before and X amount of minutes after.
X = anywhere from 1 minute to 15 minutes ....

I have the same problem with Tivo. I think its just the nature of the DVR.

Re: Anyone have DVR through Time Warner?
I have the Cablevision DVR and love it. They seem to do a better job of picking up the odd times shows start and end. For example, ER last week went from 9:59 to 11:00.
