anyone have experience with hydronephrosis with reflux?
my son has bilateral hydronephrosis and it looks like it involves the pelvis and the uterers. He is going to have a VCUG to confirm reflux but it looks like that'll be the case. just wondering if anyone had to deal with this and what the outcome was. tia

My daugher had this, but grew out of it at 2 1/2. She had several VCUGs and sonograms. Who are you using, we saw lots of doctors.

thanks for replying. we are just in the beginning stages. My son is only a week old. he was diagnosed prenatally and then had his sonogram yesterday. Unfortunately, we were only prepared for it on the right side and found out yesterday that it is bilateral. :( We are using Dr. White out of Stonybrook. Who do you use? We are having our first VCUG this week. I'm hoping they won't have to sedate him. Glad to hear your DD grew out of it with no surgery.. how long was she on antibiotics for?
