Anyone have gastro issues get worse or begin post-baby?

Since I had DS, I've had horrible stomach issues - was diagnosed with IBS and am taking medicine for it and also have such horrible heartburn, I am dying. I only had heartburn a handful of times while PG and now it's awful!!! I've been taking some OTC medicine but I think I need something stronger!!!

Anyone else?

ME! Everything I eat goes right through me and sends me running for the bathroom. My stomach cramps up so bad. When we go out I dont even eat because I dont want to have to go to the bathroom in public or at someone's house

I have a bad stomach, but not on meds. I was prescribed a while ago and now I just really watch what I eat... or else

During pregnancy I went to the bathroom twice a day. I had the opposite when girls were saying they were constipated.

Now, PP... it seems ok. Pretty much the normal bad stomach so really watching what I eat. Doesn't sound as bad as yours sorry you're going through it.

I also get heartburn once in a while, which I never got b4 being pregnant.

IVE NOTICED RECENTLY BAD BAD STOMACH CRAMPS AND GOING TO THE BATHROOM MUCH MORE FREQUENTLY POST BABY. NEVER HAD ANY STOMACH ISSUES BEFORE. PLAN ON BRINGING IT UP AT MY NEXT APPT. ALSO HEARTBURN WHICH I HAD WHEN PG BUT NEVER BEFORE!!

I have always had a bad stomach. It is ten times worse now. I had acid reflux so bad for 3 months that I went through 3 different medications before we nipped it in the butt. I get sick at least once a week. I eat less now then ever before. I am still suffering from constipation. It is horrible...

Yes, after my second baby it is soooo much worse. The heartburn, indigestion and gas is horrible. I am 7 months pp, and it is so bad, I barely eat.

I have been getting really bad heartburn since I gave birth. I thought it was supposed to go away!

i had it soooo bad after birth - turns out i had a leaky bile duct! they removed the duct and my gall bladder 3m PP and i haven't had a single issue since!

I'm so sorry so many of us are going through this! My GI told me that IBS will often appear after a major event happens in the body (like pregnancy/childbirth)

For those of you have severe issues with diarrhea, maybe see a gastro. I'm taking a medication called Welchol now and it's helping SO much!

Yep , you know I'm dealing with it. Did you have a colonoscopy ? I really am tryign to avoid it ( I'm a wimp) ....

I had a bad go of it, was just starting to feel better and then Mothers Day brunch upset my stomach and I have been paying for it ever since.

I 100% know this is PG/ C/S related.
